AMI Announces Return of the Popular Technology XChange Series at the International Production and Processing Expo
Friday, October 19, 2012(American Meat Institute)
Technology XChange, a
popular series of exhibitor presentations, will
return to the show floor at the
International Production and Processing Expo
(IPPE) January 29-30, 2013 at the
Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta,
Georgia.
Formerly known as Meat
Tech, these exhibitor generated presentations
were a great success in 2012,
creating a buzz on the floor and providing
exhibiting companies and their
customers additional opportunities for
education, networking and discussion.
Technical, non-sales session descriptions are
submitted by exhibiting
suppliers, reviewed by AMI, USP&EA and AFIA
members and technical staff and
presented by the scientific and technical
experts from the exhibiting
companies. Presentations are selected on
technical merit and on a first come,
first served basis.
Proposals to deliver
Technology
XChange presentations are due by November 15,
2012. The session description
should be no more than 2 pages and include the
title, objectives, and a
description of your
presentation.
The 20-minute sessions
will be held in two classroom theaters on the
show floors, during show hours.
This allows more visibility for attendees and
exhibitors.
Specific papers will be
presented in the following
categories:
- Livestock and Poultry
Production Technology
- Food Safety
Interventions and Ingredients
- Recent Analytical
Methods of Pathogens
- Feed
Technology
- Application of Sanitary
Design Principles for Meat
& Poultry Processing Equipment and
Facilities
- Packaging Technologies
- Information Technology
Collection
- Sustainability
Other topics outside of
this scope will also be considered, but should
focus on the technical merit of
new or improved technologies or
services.
These sessions are at no
extra cost to the exhibitors or attendees. For
