John Reddington Elected President of International Council of Hides, Skin and Leather Traders Associations

John Reddington, president of AMI’s United States Hide, Skin and Leather Association (USHLA), has been elected the new president the International Council of Hides, Skins and Leather Traders Associations (ICHSLTA).
Reddington will work with all members of ICHSLTA to improve the service of the Council to make ICHLSTA more viable and internationally relevant and contribute to the healthy development of world hides, skins and leather trade.
Reddington is a 23-year veteran of the
Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) who has
served in posts worldwide. He became president
of USHLA in 2002.
Reddington earned a
bachelor’s degree in resource economics from
the University of Massachusetts and a master’s
degree in agricultural economics from Purdue
University.
